I have heard that microdermabrasion works, but I would go to a dermatologist, they usually can help it right away!

  2. cheer_ch says:

mary-kay works really well. my cousin uses pro active and worked wonderds on her. you could notice remarkable differences in about a week!

  3. pbvale32 says:

No, microdermabrasion isnt for getting rid of acne. Try products, if they dont work for you go to a dermatologist. Thats what i did

  4. Lp_Angel says:

Wash your face with cold water every day.
DON’T constantly or at all touch your face, because that will cause more problem.
Whatever you do don’t ever try to pop or get rid of it, because it Will leave a mark on your face.
    GOOD LUCK, LOOK GREAT!

  5. My son is 20 now and he used every thing under the sun to try to get rid of his ache So he decided to just use hot water to wash his face with and then cold water after-wards like every time he was in the bathroom and he said that he noticed after a while his skin became clearer. he had been doing this since he was around 15 years old. his skin looks good too.

  6. ¤snitche says:

microdermabrasion can sometimes make your face dry and dryness isn’t good for acne, go to the dermatologist

  7. Mea says:

proactiv is the best thing both my friends and I have found! so I highly suggest that and if that doesnt work then your dermatologist should find ya something that works ;)

  8. mistress says:

Keep you face clean. It doesn’t alwats work, but hey, it helps.

  9. Rolando MacTavish III says:

Sand paper and stop wacking off

  10. cuts says:

either proactiv but if ur a lazy or busy person go to a dermatoligist

  11. Trollhai says:

By going to a dermatologist and taking what he or she prescribes.

  12. Ryan E says:

First thing stop eating junk food, second, drink a lot of water, third never touch you face and when you take a shower only rinse your face only with the water that comes out of the shower head, not with soap or a wash cloth and not any acne pad they dry you face out!

  13. *******l says:

my bro uses mary kay and that really works

  14. Patient Paws says:

My skin doesn’t respond well to products like Proactive or Clean and Clear.
I prefer to use home remidies.
Things like when you feel the blemish appearing, go put BLEACHLESS mint toothpaste on it and it dries it out so its not as red.
Also, lemon juice mixed with a drop or two of water on a pimple helps to get rid of the acne.
I’ve also made the odd discovery that swimming in a highly chlorinated pool dries up acne and makes it go away! [therefore I swim every chance I get, lol].

  15. WP Robot says:

I use Clearasil when I get acne I’m 13 use vanishing cream on the acne then wash all around it with a cleanser.

  16. pruitt.c says:

Stop drinking all types of POPs..and stay away from all candy, and wash your face with cold water. Never use the same cloth that you wash your body with..always have two different wash clothes.. one for the face and other for the body. Before bed wash off the days dead skin and change your pillow cases often.

  17. jextreme says:

proactive, if it doesnt work to a dermatologist, if that fails too, pop em, and if that fails, just rip off your skin from your face, and if all that fails… then live with it

  18. tweet_11 says:

you can use acne free or proactive. i use it every morning&evening when i go to bed you can get these kits both @ wal-mart and other stores like it. good luck :)

  19. crbrewin says:

proactiv is the best solution. i do not work for the company or anything. I have friends that have used it and they had acne really bad it was on there back and chest and face and it all cleared up it was amazing results TRUST ME

First let me tell you something about your diet.If you eat a lot of chips, candy, sugars and fats it adds fuel to the flame. use a cleanser and then a toner twice a day.peroxide also helps to get rid of acne.
Also you need to determine what skin type you have/normal,dry,or oily and work on a twice a day skin care regime.
Drink plenty of water to help keep you hydrated and your system cleaned out.Hope I was of some help to ya.

  21. That ProActive system is supposed to work pretty well. You can probably buy it online but they were also selling it on either QVC or HSN.

  22. somepali says:

    jus use cleanser daily

  23. Marissa says:

my doctor recommended this medicine for acne
its called benzoyl peroxide wash 5 %
you have to put it on in the morning and night and kind of rub it in where your pimples are
then you use this medicine called clindamycin phosphate gel usp 1 %
you put it on after the wash on the pimples but don’t rub it in
i just used it 4 times and already there is a major change
its not over the counter drugs and it costs about 70 or 80 dollars together

  24. ahoo_04 says:

No, if you have acne don’t use microdermabrasion. All you need to keep you skin clean and apply acne treatment gel. My son had acne, now he is using Mary Kay cleanser and acne treatment and it works very well. products he is using are:
Velocity cleanser ($10) and acne treatment gel ($7). you can order on-line, shipping is free.
Mary Kay is offering free microdermabrasion samples on-line, but once again if you have acne you should not use microdermabrasion.

  25. island3g says:

wash and then “tone” with witch hazel

  26. kay2ange says:

    clean and clear works

  27. katinna says:

It is a proven fact that dehydration causes bad skin. Drink lots and lots of water. Everyone will tell you to pay outrageous amounts of money on products that you will find DON’T work. 14 days of tons of water should do the trick. Less sugar. When was the last time you actually drank 8 glasses of water a day? Good luck!

  28. Pachel says:

some say a benzoyl peroxide topical treatment such as proactiv or the prescription benzaclin is best… another main ingrediant to look for might be salicylic acid found in clean and clear products.
I recently read about combining the two for best results… never really put that to the test…
From personal experience, i would recommend proactiv.. i had pretty moderate acne problems about a year ago.. its soooo much better now. Proactiv is better than any prescription I ever tried.
If you have breakouts rarely and you’re only worried about one or two zits… try just the normal washing your face and using some drugstore treatment, a few zits isn’t worth the 40-50 dollar proactiv kit.
and dont’ drink sodas… uhh what else havn’t you already heard from the above posters…
fish.. fish oils contribute to oily faces…
and exercising regularly helps toxins release through perspiration. wash your face before excercising.. bc any dirt in your pores will clog them and not let the toxins release.. wash afterwards too.. ok i’m done.

First thing is to stop what’s causing it. Chocolate, fried foods, cokes, keep face clean with cleanser, and a plus is keeping your hair clean. And touching your face with your hands if they are not clean.

  30. silenced says:

noxema every single day, I had horrible acne as a teen, but if you keep up using face cleaners every single day it will greatly reduce it. Also use the acne pads during the day. Like after PE or being outside for a long time to clean the dirt and sweat from your face. It takes about a week to start seeing results, and you can not let up on it. Even if your face is clear keep using the stuff. it does work i sware.

  31. foofoo19 says:

Cut back on the stress. It’s a major contributor. Take up yoga or tai chi and learn to meditate.
Clean and clear (with salicylic acid) works well.
I do both, and I notice when I slack off on using one or the other.
