Help! What Face Wash/acne Treatment Should I Buy?

im going to the store in 30 minutes and have no clue. i have combo skin and moderate acne. ive tried a lot of things even iq derma! what works best for you?
Try using Acne Free from Walmart. It’s compared to, and even supposed to be stronger, than ProActive. I’ve been using it for 2 years now and my face has dramatically improved, without over drying or side affects. Good luck!
* Try CLEAN & CLEAR acne cleanser twice daily – it’s fairly inexpensive and really works (from experience)
* After cleaning, use a PORE REDUCING TONER to get rid of the excess dirt/oil that soap can’t remove. This will also close up pores so dirt/oil are less able to block it
* Finally, if your face feels a little rough, use some OIL-FREE MOISTURIZER just for combination/oily skin (such as Olay Complete for Combination/Oily Skin)
Other notes to keep in mind:
** Stay away from greasy products and limit your consumption of dairy products (i.e. milk, cheese, ice cream) as they are known to increase and cause acne
** Consume more fruits/vegetables instead
* Keep drinking plain water and keep a good exercise habit (this will help unblock pores)
* Do not wash your face too often (more than 3 times a day) as it will irritate and cause more acne (for some people)
You should get eggwhite facial soap. It’s a soap from Sweden. The box says that it’s been a tradition for a long time…it was used weekly and it draws impurities from the skin/pores naturally. All I can tell you is that I use it and my skin is phenomenal. I also have combo skin. I leave it on for 5 minutes (occasionally) and then rinse. When I’m in a hurry I just use it quick. It’s called Lanolin- Agg- Tval. In a blue box.
I’ve always had good luck w/ Noxema. It’s a great cleanser and cream in one.
A little dab on blemishes before bed usually takes care of the problem.
I particularly like to wash w/ Noxema first, then smooth a thin layer over my face and neck, and lay a washcloth wrung out w/ hot water over all and steam for a few minutes. Really moisturizes!
i use proactiv and it works great for me. it got my skin a lot cleaner, but you don’t see results for about 2 weeks. If you buy proactiv i strongly reccomend getting the mask, because it dries up acne like overnight. you would want to use the mast every 1-2 days. before proactiv i’ve used clean and clear, clearasol neutragena and st ives but this worked the best by far!!
i use noxzema in like a blue and orange bottle. its not the scrub with the beads, its the cleanser. i really like it and it works well for me. also, idk if you do this, but you should try wetting your face with warm water and rinsing the soap with really cold water. the combo of these two things helps my skin greatly. the only time i get acne now is basically around my period and that a zit or two.

well i have neutrogena acne stress control its ok i have tried lots even proactiv for like 8 months so i say go to a dermatoligist and they see whats the best for you if neutrogena doesnt work my mom promised we see a dermatoligist because i am going to have grade 8 grad this year woot!
Dont use proactive it makes it worse. Use Clean and Clear, either the show one or the morning brutst (orange) or go cheak of the severnteen mag. with american ferria on the cover and theres this page of acnee and face cleaners dependign on how much you have! Do that!
I am not really sure what to buy at the store buuuuut, if you are looking for something that really works try Mario Badescu products, I use that. For the store, try the neutrogena wave, or a wash with salycilic acid in it.
get the New Nuetrogena pink Grapefruit. I have been using it for a month now and NO ACNE! it’s AH-MAZING! get it. yes it is 5 dollars a bottle but it actually works, and they don’t have corny commercials for it. LOL

Clean and claer blackhead scrub. works for all acne type,
and wont dry you out.

well proactiv works really well on some skin it was okay for me. And i would definitely get a nutrogena acne stress control wash don’t get the power foam wash because it can really dry out your skin.

the thing that works best for me is olay warming. it works really well, and it relaxes your face due t the warming micro beads.
Get Neutrogena Fresh Foaming Cleanser For Face Wash. Then Get Sea-Breeze Fresh-Clean Astringent for another Face Wash But It Coats Your Skin So It Prevents Acne

A lot of people use Neutrogena. I like Stridex pads ( for cleaning faces-no alcohol) or Clean & Clear Oil-Free Foaming Facial Cleanser.
Those work good!
clean an clear morning burst, and clearasil vanishing. both do a great job 4 me, they can make a bad zit or pimple go away in one night

Everyones skin is different. Look on the labels and find what you need for your skin. I dont recommend some of the clean & clear products because I have combo skin as well, and my face always breaks out more after I use it. There are some products that may work, but just experiment. I use The Grapefruit wash, it smells good but I just bought it so I do not know if its gonna make my skin better.
